Junior Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £26,000 to £30,000 per annum

Working pattern: Full-time, studio-based

Location: Shoreditch, London

Software: Excel (essential), cost management tools (training provided)

Projects: Retail, hospitality, and leisure fit-outs across the UK

About the company

A boutique consultancy with a strong track record in the retail, hospitality, and leisure sectors is looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their Shoreditch team. This is a good opportunity for someone at the start of their career to gain hands-on experience while learning from senior colleagues in a supportive environment.

About the role

You'll assist with cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation, while supporting the commercial management of projects across the UK. You'll gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, from feasibility through to final accounts, with clear scope to develop your career as you build confidence and expertise.

What you'll bring

• Academic background or early experience in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or a related discipline
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel and willingness to learn cost management software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organisation, motivation, and eagerness to progress within the QS profession
• A clean UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
