Freelance Artworker / Bid & Presentation Designer

Contract: Freelance, immediate start (briefing within 48 hours)

Hours: Full-time for the project, with possible lates and weekends (TBC)

Software: PowerPoint, InDesign, and Photoshop

About the Role

We’re working with a Manchester-based studio that needs an organised artworker who designs like they’re making an annual report. You’ll pick up a live client tender. The current deck is around 30 pages in PowerPoint and could reach 90 by the end. It needs recutting into something polished, persuasive, and on brand, in PowerPoint or InDesign. You’ll agree the pagination with the studio at the start.

The tender covers seven temporary F&B event spaces. The studio is writing the copy and the CGIs are still being finished. In the meantime, you’ll own the document and pull everything together into one coherent, engaging deck.

Your Days Will Look Something Like This

• Redesigning and restructuring the existing deck within the end client’s brand guidelines
• Building layouts that make written content engaging, led by beautiful, emotive photography
• Bringing together copy, site plans, CGIs, and commercials across all seven spaces
• Slotting in new content and CGIs as they land, keeping the document consistent as it grows
• Managing versions, page flow, and final artwork to deadline

You Might Be Our Perfect Match If

• You have a portfolio of bid documents, tenders, annual reports, or similar long-form publishing work
• You’re equally confident in PowerPoint and InDesign
• You have a strong eye for typography, image selection, and editorial layout
• You’re highly organised and calm when the page count keeps climbing
• You work well remotely and keep in close contact with the studio team on a fast-moving project
• You’re available now and flexible on hours through to 3 November
